Chemistry Lecture @ 8AM
Whispering to my left.

Why do I still feel the need to overwork myself...
I’ve been praying for the past few hours. I need an answer. I want an answer. Why can’t I get myself to accept that 17 credits may and will probably be better than 19 credits? Why did I set such high standards and expectations? Why? Why? WHY?
P.S. It’s 2 AM, and I still haven’t figured out the last class I’m taking. SIGH.

Two doors down, two floors up.
My dad brought my mom and me to the US in 1991, approximately a year after I was born. He brought us to the East Village to his first floor, spacious two-bedroom apartment where he had lived during the previous years. Approximately two weeks later, we all moved to Ohio where my dad opened his restaurant.
Fast forward approximately 19-20 years. I am now living on the same street. Only Two doors...
